Fall Colours (2016)

October 19, 2016

People drive for miles (here in Southern Ontario) to see the ever-changing colours of fall. All I have to do is step out my door!  Living in the country has surpassed all our expectations. I’ve never been happier to be living life on … the other side of 55.

Excellent views. I was thinking of travelling to Algonquin Park on this coming weekend to see whatever is left of the colours there but it makes sense to probably not travel that far at this time of the year. Colours are so beautiful in southern parts too.Any suggestions for locations?

Pretty much anywhere south of Lake Huron towards Lake Erie is good; with the weather cooling off (and rain predicted), this will probably be the last really good weekend, though. We’re just north of Lake Erie and the colours here are awesome (we were out on the bike this morning and everywhere you look, its simply beautiful!) Enjoy!

We hadn’t realized how many different colours we’d see on our own property, but its awesome. Every day offers new views and new adventures here!

Thanks. The wide range of colours wasn’t something we’d anticipated but its certainly something we’re enjoying (and it changes every single day!)
